As the date for my wedding drew ever so close, I desperately tried to come up with an inspirational, yet romantic brides speech to wow everyone with, this unfortunately was harder than I anticipated…. I eventually decided on a plan of action, to sit down and just jot down some of the many thoughts that popped into my head.
Believe me when I say that there are more efficient ways to plan your brides wedding toast, but this was fantastic way to kick start ideas.
At first I found this quite difficult, but when I got the idea of using speech prompts ad guides, I eventually started writing down bit of information about myself and my groom.
I jotted down, how we met, how long we had been happily together, some of our most special and memorable moments in life together so far, it really helped me put into perspective and most importantly words, what we had been through as a couple and where we were now.
At this stage its just best not to bother yourself to much about the order or content of your wedding speech. The biggest hurdle is actually creating the perfect wedding speech, not writing it. (crazy I know)
So by jotting down my thoughts I was already over my first task.
