As the date of my wedding loomed ever so close, I found myself still frantically attempting to write an inspirational, yet sweet Wedding Speech. As with all Bride Speeches my aim was to wow everyone. This unfortunately was harder than I anticipated…. I eventually decided on a plan of action, to sit down and just jot down some of the many thoughts that popped into my head.

You may say that there are more efficient ways to plan your Bride Wedding Toast, but this is fantastic way to kick start ideas.

In the beginning i found my self a little dry for ideas. But when I got the idea of using speech prompts ad guides useful information came along thick and fast.

I started to brain storm bits of information about my wonderful relationship.

I jotted down, how we met, how long we had been happily together, some of our most special and memorable moments and funny sorties we have encountered etc. This exercise really helped me put into perspective and most importantly words, so excellent meaningful, factual and funny material that was going to give my speech an edge and make it unique.

A big tips of mine is that at this stage its best not to bother yourself to much about the order or content of your toast. The biggest hurdle is creating the perfect Bride Wedding Speech. Not necessarily writing it (crazy I know).

To summarize theses are my top tips to start you off.

1. Make an Action Plan.

2. Brain storm bits of information about the happy couple - Sit down and just jot down some of the many thoughts that pop into your head about you your partner.

* i.e How i met the groom/ partner.

* How long you have been close.

* Some of our most special and memorable moments

* Funny stories you have encountered etc

So by jotting down my thoughts I was already over my first task.

Please do not panic about writing your Brides Speech. Even if you only have a night to write it do not fret. This is not always the case, but my partner and I didn’t want to spoil the surprise of creating our speeches together. We did have a chat to decipher the direction we thought our wedding speeches should to in.

When I comes to all sorts of speeches, weather it is the Brides Wedding Speech or the Mother of the Brides Speech, it definitely helps to get your stories correct just to make sure every single speech is not a repeat of the others. This is why having a discussion about such things is personally quite important.

Coming Up With The Perfect Speeches

If you have decided to talk with your future spouse and ask whether they are preparing a speech themselves. Most likely you will have similar ideas, such as reciting stories of how you first met and your happy times together so far.

A good idea and a possible option is decided to cover different topics. Or you might both want to include a story of how you both met, but from different points of view. This can make the speech interesting and funny for your guests and something they will love I’m sure.

These are just possible ideas. Not all Groom and Bride Speeches are done together, but I feel sharing ideas whilst keeping your own personal speeches for the big day can be exciting and inspirational.
